Growing up as a child on a working farm in Millwood, KY, Ellen started forming a creative imagination at an early age. A career as a Graphic Artist after college was her goal, she earned her BFA from Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida.

Ellen stayed in Sarasota and became a staff artists for a major design firm. She was promoted to art department manager - traveling extensively throughout the entire southeastern part of the country - but always "coming home" to Sarasota. Years later she made the decision that would forever change the direction of her life.

Ellen moved back to Kentucky. Then the transition took place naturally. Graphic design led to interior design, and residential space planning which led to real estate.
